Jackson Pollock Art

Our gifted and talented Key Stage 2 children produced some incredible artwork this term, taking inspiration from Jackson Pollock.

Jackson Pollock was a major figure in the abstract expressionist movement post World War 2. Pollock was famous for his unique style of drip painting which is a form of abstract art in which paint is dripped on to a canvas.

The Reception class also had a part to play with the paintings, as they helped create the splatter paintings in the style of Pollock which was incorporated into the background of each piece.
